"I recently stayed at the Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea and really enjoyed the beautiful setting and direct access to the Dead Sea. The mud bath was a definite highlight. However, breakfast was disappointing — the staff felt inattentive and rarely acknowledged me, which affected an otherwise great stay. Overall, a lovely hotel with room to improve on service at breakfast."

"This hotel offers «executive rooms». Don’t go for that, the executive lounge is converted to a meeting room so you end up paying for a softdrink in the bar. The rest of the group booked via a local agency and got a much cheaper rate, plus free extensions to midnight for those with the 03:30 flight. I had to pay an extra night, even though I had the «executive» and paid a lot more. The staff was borderline rude when I tried to get the same deal as the others in my group. The hotel in general is a bit run down, but OK. Food is good, and the pool area looks nice. Still I cannot recommend this place. "
