There is a deck with a forest and a pond in the backyard, and a short walk through the forest to a creek. Very peaceful, with things to do in the area.»

«This is exactly what my family needed to recharge our batteries after longs days at the Dreams Park fields. The screened in porch was our favorite spot for morning and evening drinks. The futon couch was exactly what my mini MLB player needed to also recharge from peopling. It’s close to many attractions, yet feels secluded to pretend the world doesn’t exist. «My family and I stayed in Cottage #2 for the weekend while our daughter graduated from Oneonta. It was under 20-minutes to get to Oneonta, and the ride was unbelievably picturesque. The cottage was super clean, well-stocked, and had a great porch attached to the cottage. Check-in was easy, and we took advantage of the firepit at night. We had a great weekend!»

«This property was wonderful. Easy to find, very clean and welcoming, and plenty of room to make yourself at home. The property owner was easy to reach as well. The only downside, although manageable, was the automatic lock on the door. The door sags and drags a touch and because of this the bolt becomes stuck in the lock and the mechanism cannot unlock the door. «Perfect place to stay for a busy week of baseball at Cooperstown. It is a beautiful, quiet getaway in the woods close to the ball park! It’s got everything you need including on site washer and dryer. The cottage was spotless and comfortable! Host was super!»

«The cabin is very clean, with a nice porch on the lake. Coffee in the morning on the lake was quite nice. There is an outdoor shower which is private and the hot water comes on quickly. The water inside is not potable, and there are obvious signs not to drink it. The hosts provide drinking water. They also provide lots of snacks/coffee/toothbrushes and other amenities you may need. Electric outlets are somewhat sparse but manageable.»
