«This cottage is a pleasant retreat from the hectic day to day life. No television but pleasant evening music is more than enough. Morning sun is glorious rising through the trees. You are surrounded by ice cream shops, farmers markets, song birds. The town won't let you use their beaches, so the state beach is your best choice. Go and enjoy!»

«This place is amazing, beautifully decorated immaculate scenery breathtaking. Firepit was lovely with full moon. Nice time to spend with family. Only drawback I see is if you have trouble with stairs. Can’t say enough about this place if u want to getaway and chill this is the place for you On the other hand much to do nearby. «The Welcome Book needs updating. We were told we had a gas fire pit and we didn’t. The access to Beach chairs etc. , door was locked. Clean up was different than what was expected on my email. »

«This property is exactly as described in the listing. There is no ocean beach access, but it’s close enough to hear the surf. The Quonnie breachway, dock, and Quonnie pond are within easy walking distance. The kitchen is well-equipped and the deck out back was delightful for a cookout. The home is very neat and clean, a typical Rhode Island beach house. The owners were kind enough to return to us a small item that we left behind! We highly recommend this listing. It was perfect for us. »

«We loved our stay at this cottage. The 2 bedrooms are cozy and we were glad to have the extra 1/2 bath. Very comfortable stay. Would not hesitate to book again. We appreciated the use of the washer dryer. Those machines are often not great at rentals, but this was a fine set! I even put the puzzle together and we enjoyed the provided board games. The river is nice to sit and enjoy.»

«We stayed for 4 nights in September. The cottage was just as advertised and we were very comfortable. Lynn was very responsive to questions. The kitchen was stocked incredibly well and anything we needed was available. The location was perfect since it was only about 1 mile to the Cliff Walk, 2 to downtown Newport and very close to the nature preserve. Thank you for letting us stay in the cottage for our Newport visit!»
