«turtles were amazing and a great experience overall! had no hot water. I understand there is no electricity but why not put a barrel on top of the building and paint it black? Also had no choice when to leave the place but with a 10am boat which was early given the overnight search for turtles, would have been nice to stay longer, the place is nice and peaceful.»

«Overraskende ble vi hentet på kaia, og bagasjen vår ble fraktet til hotellet med sykkel, mens en guide fulgte oss mens han fortalte om Tortuguero, og om mulighetene for aktiviteter der. Hotellet er veldig enkelt, men det har en super beliggenhet på stranden, bare et steinkast bra landsbyens sentrum. Guiden anbefalte et sted å spise, som var etter våre ønsker. Guiden arrangerte en padletur i naturreservatet, så vi fikk se masse ulike dyr og planter - helt fantastisk!»

«Thw terrasse with river side view was very nice and big so you always could sit there. The hotel was central with just a few walking minutes to restaurants and national park 👍 The tours that the hotel provided was very good, we saw turtles and went on a morning boat trip, both I will recommend 😀 Stay away from the street view rooms if you are a light sleeper, the beds were hard and well worn... due to the locations, you should expect insects and bugs in the room over night.»

«Very helpful and courteous staff. I was lost driving to the boating dock, and they called me several times to check my location and give directions. They even arranged for a boat late at night to get to the island.»
