«The Dairy Barn is a beautiful large property set in an idyllic location but within easy reach of local amenities and attractions by car. Our group consisted of 6 adults and the 3 en-suite bedrooms were ideal. The kitchen is large and very well equipped and there was plenty of seating in all rooms, including the very comfortable lounge. Plenty of parking for 3 cars and room to store our bikes. Would thoroughly recommend. Sally was very helpful and on-hand should we need anything.»

However, upon arrival the house had clearly only had a very light clean. There was white dog hair everywhere and we had to clean the bath before using it. «We visited in early May, group of 4 friends. We decided to go without a car and used the train, foot ferry and buses. Very convenient location with a lovely walk into Ryde and also a regular bus service. The house is very clean and well equipped with spectacular views although it does have the idiosyncrasies of an older property, for example the showers could be a little temperamental. «The house had a lot of positives. It is very well situated not only for the ferry but to get to other places on the island. There was one of the best welcome packs we have experienced. the house is very well equipped and has a lot of things you don't expect - e.g. dressing gowns and slippers as well as dishwasher and laundry tablets (but oddly enough no spare toilet rolls).
