«To be honest it was very loud from the gig place from across the road (Saturday) but it calmed down & it was quiet for the rest of the stay in spir of the house's very central location (& lots of good music in town). I had an issue with the window & appreciated that the hotel owner responded & resolved the situation.The rooms are lovingly decorated & warm, and the bed was very comfy. »

«Staff are overworked. They have to check you in while serving at the bar. We were charged by Expedia and charged a second time when we checked in for the stay. Expedia refused to assist in the resolution, saying we had to work it out with the hotel. »

«The hotel is ideally located on the promenade, with the high street on the other side. Easy access to the beach and local transport. The room was big, with nice interior and comfortable beds. Huge bathroom with bathtub and toiletries provided. There was tea/coffee making facilities in the room as well. The breakfast was nice, with a menu with cooked food to choose from and a small selection of cereals, juice, croissants and fresh fruit.»

«Light and airy room, recently modernised. Loved the sky light and electronic blind! Bed was huge and very comfortable. Bathroom and shower well planned and fresh. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was buffet style. Well laid out and fresh. Extra options could be ordered which was a nice touch. »

«Clean and spacious room, tea and coffee facilities included in the room, which was nice. More choice of tea would have been nice, for example a herbal tea option. Breakfast was great value for money, and the service was superb. The young lady was extremely pleasant and welcoming.»
