«Lets face it, this is in Alaska. The word "posh" probably doesn't exist there. What this hotel do have in spades, is friendliness. I have stayed here more than once and they have literally been driving me anywhere I have needed to go. All of the staff have been super friendly and making it feel real, because they are. «They have lots of parking and a shuttle service. The staff is pretty good and they try to keep the place clean. This is our third stay there and each time there are facility issues. The restaurant and pool have been closed off for years. This time one elevator was down and both rooms we had were without a working hair dryer. Missing window screens, safes that no longer function, and dripping faucets have become normal here. The fish freezers still work which is one of the reasons we stayed here ...
