«Aranwa looks like it has been a fantastic hotel, but it isn't anymore. The premises are fantastic, but not well maintained. Food was absolutely terrible, we almost couldn't eat it. Breakfast was also terrible. And this is quite shocking since all the other food we god in Peru has been amazing. The location in the Sacred Valley is nice but not a must. For going to Machu Picchu I would consider staying in Aguas Calientes instead. And the WiFi didn't work. »

«Wonderful staff and manager Hector. They were always friendly and ready to help in whatever way we needed.
The only suggestion for the resort would be to increase the pathway lighting. At night , it is is really hard to see the way back to the cabins.»

«We loved the setting and the unique zen design of the hotel. It looked vintage and yet ultra Modern at the same time with large glass windows overlooking the gorgeous mountains surrounding the property. We also loved the terrace in the back with the large chairs looking onto the view.
Some of the furniture especially in the lobby, the sofas needed upholstering and weren’t comfortable to sit on same in the dining room. Also the room needed more lighting especially in the bathroom. We couldn’t ...

«Nice hotel set in a beautful valley. Had some problems with the food in the resturant. A place to relax. Note that they charge all consumption with an extra 10% servicecharge.»

«Very quaint hotel with large rooms, beautiful grounds. Nice restaurant especially for breakfast. Dinner was ok but atmosphere was very nice. Can walk to train station (5 min). Center square 15 min walk. »

«We recently stayed at Stardome Hotel to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it was truly an unforgettable experience.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and genuinely helpful. They made us feel welcome and cared for throughout our entire stay. The views are absolutely breathtaking — truly the kind that stay with you long after you leave.
Our room was beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable.

Eks.

«Excised about the location and the great hospitality. The breakfast was exceeding every expectation from a small place like this. The size of the beds are not as expected. The promise: king bed was a queens size, the queen was a small double. The room should have a bathtub, and it did, unfortunately it could not be closed hence not filled with water. The shower had warm water for 2 persons, but as we were 4 it was slightly on the low side, as only receiving 2 towels for the family. The ...

«Beautiful boutique hotel with only 16 rooms that are spacious, elegant, quiet, safe and convenient. The staff is amazing and helped mewith anything and everything I needed including fixing my glasses I sat on and shopping for special foods I like. I felt deeply cared for. I now consider this my home in the Sacred Valley and hope to return someday. This is for sure THE only place to stay in my opinion.»

«We stayed seven nights at Tierra Viva and it was the perfect base for exploring the Sacred Valley. The property is beautiful and serene, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout.
Our spacious room was comfortable, though standard rooms don’t include a fridge. Interestingly, the standard rooms actually seemed nicer than the superior rooms, so don’t feel you need to upgrade.
The complimentary à la carte breakfast options were a lovely touch. In the evenings, the hotel lights the ...

«This little gem made our entire trip so much more than expected! Researching Machu Picchu and ways to get there was overwhelming until we found this cute, quaint and charming b&b. Highly recommend staying in Ollantaytambo versus Cusco…you experience a lot of local influence without the overly tourist aspect. As someone who is well traveled in their career and stays in luxury hotels for work often, I can say with complete confidence that this place has the most wonderful hospitality, charisma, ...

«The road to get there was a bit rough as we arrived in the night, but this was a very unique and one of kind out of this world hotel. Would recommend 100%»

«One of the most idyllic and peaceful retreats I’ve visited in traveling to 50 countries. You will not regret your stay. On site restaurant has great food. Breakfast included is full breakfast with many options including made to order omelettes. »

Vertical Sky Suites
6/10 Greit
"If you’re looking for a “special” and breathtaking experience — and I mean that quite literally — Vertical Sky is the place to be. The views are absolutely spectacular, and the rooms are undeniably cool in every sense of the word. Especially the temperature.
Along with the stunning, airy panorama, you’re treated to a refreshing ice-cold shower each morning — whether you asked for one or not. Nothing says luxury quite like involuntary cryotherapy at sunrise.
And let’s not forget the dining experience. The menu offers a fascinating exploration of how high prices can climb, seemingly inspired by the altitude itself. Unfortunately, the quality of the food doesn’t quite make the same ascent. It’s impressive, really — paying premium, sky-high prices for a culinary experience that remains firmly grounded.
All in all, Vertical Sky delivers unforgettable views and equally unforgettable invoices."
