«Aranwa looks like it has been a fantastic hotel, but it isn't anymore. The premises are fantastic, but not well maintained. Food was absolutely terrible, we almost couldn't eat it. Breakfast was also terrible. And this is quite shocking since all the other food we god in Peru has been amazing. The location in the Sacred Valley is nice but not a must. For going to Machu Picchu I would consider staying in Aguas Calientes instead. And the WiFi didn't work. »

«Dette er det perfekte overnattingsstedet på vei til eller fra Aguas Calientes (og Machu Picchu). «We absolutely loved staying at Luis’ place! The area is quiet and the view from our room was incredible. The place is located a bit outside the city but we had dinner at a nice vegetarian cafe nearby (which was great even though we’re not vegetarians). Luis was very helpful and accommodating. «We stayed seven nights at Tierra Viva and it was the perfect base for exploring the Sacred Valley. The property is beautiful and serene, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout. «Veldig god service fra alle ansatte. Alle går virkelig inn for å møte alle ønsker man har. Eks. Servitøren i restauranten fikk kokken til å lage en mindre posjon av grønnsaksuppen, slik at vi kunne kombinere den med en annen rett for 1 pris. :-) veldig behjelpelige med turer/transport (også til Machu Picchu). Hotellet ligger ca 30 min med bil fra Aguas Callientes (hvor toget går til Machu Picchu), men taxien koster nesten ingenting (100 sol) så det gjør ingenting at man ikke bor i Aguas ...
