«Our retreat here was beyond a pleasant experience! the hosts were kind enough to leave us farm fresh eggs from some lovely ladies you are welcomed to feed kitchen scraps. (no onion), they also supplied us with bacon, muesli and bread from berry’s local bakery, and more! due to us poorly planning it was raining whilst we were there— however we didn’t let that taint our time on the beautiful five acres of land! we lit the preset fireplace and burned through their kindling. «Genuinely a nice place, extremely well presented. Both the bed, and the chairs in the lounge area, are comfortable (a nice change from some of the places I've stayed at). The owner, Bruce, is a very affable guy, and I'm happy to recommend this place for a quiet getaway.»

«Werona Cottage was the most beautiful place to stay to wind down and relax after a difficult few months. The fit out and choice of fixtures is very considered. Everything is well thought out, classic, stylish and private. The location is perfect! Unfortunately the famous pub was closed for renovation. I would definitely recommend this beautifully equiped little cottage. I can't wait to stay again.»
