The Space:
A World Apart Villa is based in the beautiful surroundings of Palmas del Mar Resort in Humacao, Puerto Rico. One of Puerto Rico's exclusive ports and tourist attractions. Situated in one of the best locations on the island. This stunning Villa has an amazing layout and is spacious for up to six guests. Caribbean style furniture, classic art, and many more features make this the perfect getaway. The Villa features three full bedrooms, 3.5 full baths, a one-of-a-kind private rooftop terrace with brand new furniture, gas bbq & imported Italian tile terrace, and views of the pool and ocean. Come enjoy all the amenities of Palmas del Mar and sleep and stay in the comfort of A World Apart.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The condominium Crescent Cove is currently undergoing general maintenance and upgrades. You may find machinery that is being used to paint the apartment buildings. This is an ongoing project during 2025 and, we expect it will be finished by January 2026.
ACCESSIBILITY NOTE: This property is located in the community called “Crescent Cove”, which does not legally require elevators in any buildings since they have a maximum of 3 floors. Please take this into consideration if you or a companion has any disabilities.
BEDROOMS
On the 2nd floor, you'll find the master bedroom, which has 1 king bed with flat screen TV, pool views, and a dedicated bathroom with double sink & bidet. Also on the 2nd floor, you'll find the 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds, flat screen TV, private bathroom. Lastly, the 3rd bedroom is located on the 3rd floor of the villa and has 1 king bed, a dedicated bathroom, TV, and best of all; access to a private rooftop with beautiful new furniture where you can enjoy the wonderful ocean views.
All bedrooms have floor-to-ceiling windows with sliding door; perfect to enjoy the stunning views. Separate AC in each bedroom for great comfort.
PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):
We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.
KITCHEN
A World Apart Villa has a simple and tidy kitchen that gets the job done. It has a fridge with a freezer, microwave oven, oven, toaster, and a coffee maker. The kitchen is fully supplied and equipped with all the dinnerware and cooking ware needed for an extended stay. West Indies Vacation Rentals always ensures that guests have fresh dish soap and dish sponges for their stay. This unit has a washer & dryer, a great amenity for a longer stay.
LIVING AREAS
The main level has an open concept layout that connects the dining room, kitchen, and living room. Has a beautiful 6 person dining table and 2 additional seating areas by the kitchen buffet-style counter. The living room has views of the pool, beach & spectacular Caribbean Ocean. From here you can hear the ocean waves and enjoy the Caribbean Sea trade winds.
LOCATION
A World Apart Villa enjoys one of the most coveted locations within Palmas del Mar, Puerto Rico. Guests can walk to the beach and the tennis club. The rest of Palmas del Mar's amenities are easily accessible by Golf Cart, which can be rented at Palmas del Mar. These include golf, tennis, a wide array of dining options, various access points to the mile-long beach, marina, surfing, and mountain biking.
There are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites:
Golf at one of Palmas del Mar's two 18-hole Golf Courses. Tee times can be booked over the phone.
Tennis at the Palmas del Mar Athletic Club with 20 courts that include artificial grass, Har-Tru Clay, and hard courts.
Lunch or dinner at La Pescadería, an oceanfront restaurant by the marina with some of the best seafood on the island.
Explore the El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 40-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship.
Chill at the beach! It is walking distance, is a mile-long, and has a great beachfront grill!

STARTER AMENITIES
At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay. All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest.
We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:
- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)
- 3 garbage bags
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)
- 1 dish soap
- 1 dish sponge
- A small amount of laundry detergent
Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.
Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.
HOUSE RULES
RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.
NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.
EMOTIONAL SUPPORT PETS & SERVICE ANIMALS: Exceptions to the no-pet policy are made strictly for EMS Pets. If you are traveling with an emotional support pet, you must inform this prior to booking and present the proper documentation. The community requires this documentation as they require them to be registered prior to arrival. An additional $150 cleaning fee could be charged. Please reach out to us before booking for more details.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.
UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 6 adults/children at all times, including visitors.
OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.
TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.
TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.
SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.
If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.
If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.
Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you.
TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.
Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.

We want your stay at West Indies Vacation Rental to be smooth and enjoyable. You can message us anytime after booking with questions. Starting 5 days before arrival, your designated Property Manager will also be available to answer any additional questions you may have prior to arrival. You’ll get all the essential property information 48 hours before arrival, as well as the Property Manager’s direct contact, so you’ll have support when you need it - before, during, and after your stay.
