«What a perfect place to stay. I was visiting my son in Bristol as he’s in uni and wanted a little place to stay just outside of the city and this was just perfect. Gorgeous surroundings and the room its self was so lovely and clean and had everything you would need for an overnight stay. Loved the breakfast that was left and impressed they offered gluten free options ….i did take the pastries back for my husband to eat as didn’t want them to go to waste lol….i would definitely use this again ...

Very pleasant, helpful, friendly staff.
The room was very pleasant with a comfortable bed and roomy shower room.
The room layout reflects the history of the property with a couple of shallow steps between the bedroom and shower.
We stayed for dinner and were rewarded by a tasty meal. A good selection of vegetarian options. Our usual habit of swapping plates half though very much went by the board.
Breakfast was very good with both millennial and traditional ...

«The room is good and of a reasonably high standard.
There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding.
The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor.
There is no way to switch this off or lights off. The lights are very bright. This means you cannot leave bedroom door open at night which is difficult when it’s warm. As there’s ...
