«Stay clear! Don’t know when the photos were taken but it’s not like that now! We arrived at house and knocked door to get access to lodge… no answer! Just a faded note we couldn’t read and guttering falling around front door. Anyway thought we would go to lodge to see if we could find anyone only to find mouldy doors, cracked dirty render, rusty cars in parking area and piles of junk outside every door to lodges! Hence we left and booked a holiday inn which was good! I’ve asked for a refund ...

«This was our second visit to the lodges and we weren’t disappointed. Room was spotless, good shower and plenty of sockets. The breakfast to go is a bonus and filling. There’s a lovely courtyard which we used to sit out and have supper. If you want a break from the hustle and bustle of a hectic life this is the place to come and unwind. The host was friendly and gave us suggestions of places to visit. Will definitely go back again.»

«Had a lovely overnight stay here for mine and my partners anniversary- the cabin is cosy, clean and modern and the hot tub is lovely and warm. It is situated in a peaceful, quiet location but is also not a far distance if you wanted to have a walk to one of the local pubs in Tutbury which we enjoyed. The host even let us check in early which was really kind, would definitely stay here again!»

«We had a lovely stay. It is in a beautiful location, very quiet and peaceful. The property was spacious, clean, tastefully decorated with nice furnishings . The staff were very welcoming and helpful. It is rural but the local Tollemache Inn has great food - you do need to book. Our stay ended with a nicely cooked breakfast. We will go back again for a longer stay.»

«We had the perfect stay. The Owls Nest was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. From the comfy bed, hot tub and the Webber bbq all made it so relaxing. Dog friendly which was a bonus. Jenny & Margaret were great hosts. We appreciated the special touches. We had such a lovely time that booked to go again before we left. Highly recommended.»
