«We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is private, cosy and very comfortable. The view and surrounding countryside is stunning and so peaceful. It feels remote and far from everything, just the ticket for a quiet weekend away and yet it's a short drive to the nearest village and very close to Bath. We loved it and will look to return very soon.»

«This lovely cottage is on a hillside that overlooks a beautiful valley. We enjoyed sitting in the conservatory to relax in the morning or after a day site seeing. When the sun is out the conservatory can get a little to hot. There are a lot of stairs to manuver, but in spite of that we the many stairs we loved our stay.»

«Nice and clean quiet place it's got everything you need. Nice and close to bus stops and pubs. Lovely cafe for breakfasts if you don't, don't to cook.»

«The weather was not particularly kind to us during our stay so the property's great location helped enormously in keeping us dry (being literally metres from the Roman Baths, the Abbey and Heritage Centre). With five adults and two teenagers the property's size accommodated us all easily. Paul was very welcoming and despite the weather we all enjoyed our stay.»

«Stay was enjoyed by all ages hot tub and pool table appreciated particularly by the youngsters only one thing we felt could be replaced were the tall stools in the conservatory. We felt they were unsafe and very rickety but had no reflection on our stay»

«The Barn was even better then we expected. Bigger then it shows on the photos. We stayed with a family of five, we have three boys ages 11-18 and where able to all fit in. Really near Wells & Bath and great opportunities for walking hiking in the Mendip Hills. Especially the cheddar gorge is great and challenging!»

«Immaculate property, compact and well fitted out. Smooth booking process with good communication and the owner was lovely. We checked in late, 10.30pm and were were really touched to find he had turned lights on and even electric heaters in the main room and bedroom, it was so appreciated. There was also fresh bread, milk, eggs and butter so breakfast was sorted. Beautiful location, very close to park and ride and multiple areas of interest. Highly recommended.....thank you!»

«Lots of properties say they are dog friendly but rarely are they so dog welcoming!! My two adult sons, Labrador and I had a four night break to coincide with the end of Uni term. The barn was pristine upon arrival and Liz was very welcoming and had thought of everything, from the secure exercise area for Zena (Lab) to the breakfast items for us. «Loved our stay at this perfect accommodation and the hosts could not be more welcoming. The location was absolutely perfect for exploring Bath and the train station was a 3 min walk. There is a wonderful pub just down from the apartment that had the best breakfast and an Indian rewrite some of the best Indian ever. The grocery across the street was perfect for grabbing groceries as well. Would 100% recommend.»

«Lovely house in great location. Took us a while to work out how to use the key but that was probably our fault! Also we were given the wrong code for back door key so could not use back door til we met laundry lady who gave us the right code! Showers were not great - some had no pressure or hot water but we managed with the ones that did work! Heating worked well. Dishwasher broken but we didn’t do any cooking so wasn’t a problem. We would definitely book this house again»

«The place was spotless and had little touches to help make the stay comfortable. We had a minor issue with one of the apartments, but customer service was quick to deal with it and we really appreciated that. Overall a nice stay with great location, car parking is quite limited though.»
