«I cannot recommend Han's houseboat enough. We spent a delightful week and it was a real WOW experience. After long days exploring Amsterdam, the cool breeze off the water and gentle rocking of the boat was remarkably relaxing. Many of the major tourist sites are within walking distance. «Ein schönes und gepflegtes Hausboot mit schöner Lage. Alles im allen war es ein schöne Erfahrung auf dem Hausboot, leider muss ich eine negative Sache anmerken. Leider hat bei uns der Mülleimer sehr starke nach Aschenbecher gestunken, dieser Geruch hat sich leider Tage gehalten. Zumindest immer dann wenn man die Schublade zur Mülltonne öffnete. «Wonderful experience. Martyn was very hospitable. The location is quiet and across from the zoo. Waking up to elephants and zebras was incredible. We enjoyed a nice hit tea on top of the boat in the mornings while we watched boaters and swimmers come by. We truly enjoyed this property and it’s fully stocked kitchen supplies. »

Robertino, the host, is very communicative and welcoming, and also a great source for recommendations in the area. We have stayed in Amsterdam before but have never experienced it like this and would highly recommend. It is a destination in itself.»

«Wir hatten uns so sehr auf unseren Aufenthalt gefreut, mussten jedoch bei der Ankunft feststellen, dass das komplette Hausboot mit Spinnen übersäht war! Schrecklich! Der Bewohner nebenan warnte uns sogar, dass man aufpassen muss, dass einem keine Spinne über den Körper läuft. Selbst im Haus waren Spinnen. Wir konnten hier nicht bleiben, haben uns ein Hotel gebucht und sind direkt wieder abgereist.»

«The stay was great and breakfast delivered every morning around 0830. We had breakfast in the Wheel house on the top deck. The next floor down was a sitting area with a small refrigerator but no microwave; the same floor gave you access to the toilet and shower. Bottom floor provided a bed, very-very small sink, and a place to hang a few things up. If you’re under 5’8” and barefoot you should not hit your head on the ceiling.
