The Space:

Snow settles quietly through the trees as you arrive, the woods hushed and still, broken only by the soft crunch underfoot. Steam curls into the cold air from the hot tub while warm light spills from the cabin windows, inviting you inside after a day outdoors. Evenings are made for slowing down – fires crackle, cards spread across the table, and long conversations stretch late into the night.



Sleeping Arrangements

The cabin sleeps up to eight guests across three bedrooms. The primary bedroom offers a queen bed, a wood‑burning stove, and private access to the primary bathroom. A second bedroom holds a queen bed, while the third bedroom features two sets of standard bunk beds, perfect for kids or extra guests.



Bathrooms

Two full bathrooms serve the group. The common bathroom includes a bathtub, and the primary bathroom provides a custom tile shower and a floating tub. Bathroom essentials are supplied for comfort.



Kitchen & Living Space

A fully equipped kitchen opens into the main living area, keeping everyone connected while meals are prepared. After dinner, settle onto the sofa to stream a movie on the TV or curl up with a book beside the indoor fireplace. Wi‑Fi is included for streaming and light remote work, with a dedicated workspace for planning the next adventure.



Outdoor Living

Step onto the large multi‑level deck that overlooks the woods, complete with a BBQ grill for year‑round cooking. A hot tub waits for chilly mountain nights, and a fire pit nearby becomes the natural gathering place once evening falls, perfect for quiet conversation beneath the stars.



Family & Pet Friendly

Children’s books, toys, and board games are provided, making it easy to settle in without overplanning. The cabin welcomes dogs, and free parking on the premises and a private entrance keep arrivals simple. Cats are not allowed due to allergies.

Located in Hedgesville, West Virginia, the cabin sits within The Woods Resort, minutes from Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area, where miles of trails and a large lake await. Berkeley Springs, known for its arts community, shops, restaurants, and local brewery and winery, is a short drive away. Resort walking trails are free to use, while the golf course and fitness center require a modest fee or membership.



What to Expect

The remote mountain setting means Wi‑Fi can occasionally be slower or spotty; downloading important content in advance is recommended. The cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but you may still notice a few leaves or pollen, especially in certain seasons. This cabin invites you to embrace the quiet rhythm of the mountains, where winter days unfold slowly and evenings invite you to linger.
