«I suppose I should lead with this is a pretty dated motel, but it's VERY clean. Like, not just OK-clean; it's evident that people are working extremely hard to keep this property as clean and upkept as possible, which isn't easy when a property is older. The care is evident. The hosts were very nice. We had a small problem after we checked in (that turned out to be nothing), and the host was at our door within a minute to check it. The towels were kind of scratchy, and the soap wasn't the best ...

All he had to do was provide a working key to our room, but it took three attempts before the door would open. The next morning, he threatened that "karma" would get me.
