«The house was in a good quiet location for visiting Acadia. It was clean, comfortable and well stocked! The property surrounding the house parking area was rundown with old pitiful buildings that should not be entered! The manager was awesome and responded promptly to a fuse box complications that accured! »

«Excellent house, very spacious and clean. A few constructive criticism comments would make the stay perfect! we didn’t get checkin instructions so had to sit in driveway for 30 min calling and texting the homeowners to get code. The basement had a very strong chemical smell (recently cleaned carpets?) so we didn’t use the Bsmt bedrooms. No garbage bags or toilet paper but they dropped some off after requesting. Beds comfortable. Coffee maker broken. The main bathroom window needs a shade or ...

«The cabin was clean and comfortable. If you're looking for a quiet place in the woods away from everything else in a corner of Mt Desert Island, this is for you. There is nothing nearby - no restaurants or shops -- but the deck on the top floor looking out to the woods is relaxing and the great room very much so as well. But if what you want is the bustle and vibrancy of Bar Harbor, or even the quieter stroll through Southwest Harbor, this place is far from that.»

«Wonderful, comfortable home with great water views. It's a bit of a distance away from Bar Harbor and the main entrance to Acadia, but you won't find any listing like this on Mt Desert Island, so we didn't mind the drive to get to the places we wanted to visit. It's a fabulous place to come home to after a long day of exploring Acadia. »
