«My wife and I enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The kitchen was equipped enough to cook simple meals and the view of the lake was great. It was super foggy and windy the first night but luckily it cleared up so we could enjoy it. Our only complaint were the beds being as hard as the floor but thankfully there were futon pads available so we put those on the beds and slept fine. The hot tub also worked great and was very relaxing. Also the parking is a little tight to get into. We had a very ...

«We loved our stay! The room was quiet and comfortable. We loved the public baths and breakfast (we didn't have dinner with our room). The staff was very welcoming. There's also a shuttle from the hotel down to the bus stop in Motohakone or it's an easy 15 min walk. »

«We followed all check-in instructions exactly as provided, but had no response from the host during the check-in process — nobody answered when we tried to reach them. Note that there are no nearby places/amenities, and you will need a car to get to this property. There was no communication from the host during our stay or at check-out either. The first we heard of any issue was after checkout, when the host raised a damage claim for something that appears to have pre-dated our stay, with no ...

«Beautiful and funky property. The shared spaces were very nicely appointed with a room full of records and artsy books. Loved the indoor and outdoor onsens here as well. The tatami mats and floor seats were a unique experience as well. The only small negative is that it is a little off the beaten path but even with that point & that it was raining, we very much enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.»

«Super beautiful place, service was excellent, the room was superb, the meals was great. They mostly used local food and grilled them infront of us.
A perfect place to relax after a long week in Tokyo.

«Beautiful hotel. Clean baths and artistically designed. Convenient location, walking distance to train station, albeit a steep walk with luggage, but the sister hotel at the bottom of the hill will provide a shuttle. Great, traditional dining. I would stay here over and over again.»

Amazing!
