«Usual high standard. No issues.»

«Hyggelig service.»

«Good size room, well equipped. Iron, usb wall sockets, usb charging bedside lamps. Loads of parking. Hallways and reception all well presented. EV charging works well, though expensive (75p per kw at time of writing). Bed was comfy and clean. Bathroom needed some maintenance (towel rusty, extraction not good enough so bathroom damp paint peeling). Corridor doors very noisy at night, they swing and bang 2-3 times when closing. «Overall good stay»

«Small double room, knightwick, has a toilet that leaked. The whole bathroom and bedroom stinks of mould because the floor must still be damp from the leaks. This room should not be used. The smell was so bad we had to leave the fan and light on all night. This was v noisy but preferable to the stink. Rooflights open all night. The door is a folding type so you can't even shut the smell out. Such a shame because the restaurant, pub and area are lovely and the food v good. Would pay not to stay in ...

«On arrival I was told I’ve been downgraded to a standard room after paying for a premium room. Pretty rude staff wouldn’t change your alter and just saying I will just take it off the bill at the end. That wasn’t the answer what the answer I wanted was I’m sure your room isn’t available, but we can upgrade you to Different room, ordered two £40 steaks meals most of it was Fat with about eight chips overall we won’t be coming back really underrated for what you»

«Lovely old property . Nicely decorated. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately my bathroom needed refurbishing the bath was chipped and bath taps loose and parts missing. The window frame was rusty and needed painting. A shame because room decor was pleasant.»

«The wifi is terrible and I had to move rooms so I could get a signal which was still on 1 bar. The hotel is in a blind spot for EE also so my phone signal was non existent.»

«Staff could be more attentive around the spa area.»

«Lovely spacious room with large en-suite. Very clean with water, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Lovely little extra were the complimentary chocolates and sweets. Breakfast was excellent, excellent options, I had the Avocado on toast with poached eggs which was delicious and coffee was also good quality. Would highly recommend this hotel. Was great value.»
