Grundlsee is a beautiful lake just outside of the town of Bad Ausee in Austria. We took the 3-Seen-Tour, a boat and walking tour of three of the lakes in the district (http://www.schifffahrt-grundlsee.at/die-drei-seen-tour/). We stayed on Grundlsee, a lake just outside of the town of Bad Ausee, and took the 3-Seen-Tour. It takes you to the Toplitzsee lake which is only accessible on foot. There is a restaurant there that serves fresh fish from the lake. We took the 3-Seen-Tour just down the street from where we were staying on Grundlsee. The tour is a boat and self-guided walking tour of three of the lakes in the district (http://www.schifffahrt-grundlsee.at/die-drei-seen-tour/). It is AWESOME! It takes you to the Toplitzsee lake which is only accessible on foot. There is a restaurant there that serves fresh fish from the lake. Not to mention the gorgeous view! Amazing location, property was super clean and spotless. Front desk was very helpful and kind. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. We traveled with 2 teenagers and they had great time as well. Close to Hallstatt and other good restaurants. Thank you

Taking the 3-Seen Tour of Grundlsee and the two surrounding lakes was a highlight of our honeymoon! Our visit was in October as the few leaves were just starting to turn and it was perfect. The shops and restaurants around the lake were mostly closed down as it was off season for them, but that added to the beauty of the quiet and calm. My happy place is always in the #mountains
