«Great little cottage, definitely remote (but easy to find) and with a lovely wild little garden, albeit it shared with the next door cottage, so care is needed when letting dogs (and children)! in and out. Was very well appointed although we had a couple of little niggles, being a loose toilet roll holder downstairs and we found it very dusty and would definitely benefit from a top to toe bottoming with a damp cloth, surfaces, inside cupboards etc. Finally we weren't overlly keen on the lack of ...

«Clift Hill is a fabulous place to stay. We were a group of 20 friends and family and we loved the house. It's extremely clean, well equipped and comfortable. It has impressive rooms and views but it also feels very homely. The kids (aged between 4 and 11) had a brilliant time exploring the house and gardens, playing with the games and outdoor play equipment and taking over the hot tub.»

«Located in a lovely quiet neighbourhood with well cared for lawns. Parking was a little tricky to find as the driveway next to the residence is off limits. Plenty of room for 3 people inside. It was inconvenient to learn there were no kitchen supplies (salt, pepper, cooking oil) as we’d booked it with the intention of using the kitchen right away. Easily righted with a trip to the store.»

«Loved the house. Local food at Greenhead Hotel was fabulous. Loved the log burner. Minor gripe was that we had to buy more wood as we used the small amount of wood left for us on night one of two. Not a big deal.»
