«The location is great and the property is very nice, green, lots of outdoor chairs etc. The breakfast was better than standard motel fare. The only downside is the really small one bathroom (with no sink outside) even for a two room unit or units where four people are allowed. However that is specified in the listing so its not a surprise. You'll have to plan bathroom usage. Otherwise its a great place - nearby to Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor.»

«Great and easy location if you are visiting Bar Harbor. Very nice view and easy to get anywhere you needed. The outdoor deck area could use some work but the view made up for it. No breakfast which is unfortunate but overall a very nice place and would recommend it to anyone visiting Bar Harbor.»

«Our room was clean and well maintained. The walk to downtown Bar Harbor was less than a half mile, and eliminated the need to pay for parking. It was approximately a 10-minute drive to the entrance of Acadia. Joy was very helpful, I’d certainly stay again for our next visit.»

«The ONLY thing this Motel had going for it was the location.
When we arrived, we went to our room which had peeling paint in the bathroom shower, broken door, a very loud squeaky bed when tried it out by sitting on it, and the room was dirty and in need of repairs.
We went to the office to get another room.
The next room we were given was not any better, but no rooms were available in the area, so we stuck it out as long as possible.
This room had a plumbing pipe sticking out of the wall ...

«Motel is very outdated and in need of many repairs. It was adequate for our one night stay. You truly get what you pay for. Thus the reason that the rooms are only half the price of other places near Bar Harbor he staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient and easy to get to»

«It’s a Motel, it is not fancy, but it is clean and well maintained. The rooms are very utilitarian so if you are staying for a couple of days to go hiking it is practical. What’s most important to me is CLEAN, clean bathroom, clean room nice sheets and pillows. The bed was comfortable without being super like an expensive hotel, but it was comfortable and I slept well.
I was just passing through town and only stayed one night but if I planned a hiking trip with friends I think this place would ...
