«Beautiful place tucked back in the woods. Very relaxing and incredibly clean. The free coffee was a nice touch too. Will 100% be returning to The Gunks because of this house. »

«We had a great time. The tent and toilet were clean. We appreciated the water provided and the cookware. The only thing to note is that there is a bit of walking on a rocky trail before reaching the campsite (not next to the parking spot). The river was fun to explore but can be difficult for younger kids to get to. The campsite is close to Minnewaska State Park, very convenient. »

«Overall, property was nice and quiet. Host was very responsive to my questions when I texted. They came right away to drop off some essentials which was very nice! The only true complaint is the couch, especially being indoors during our stay because of the weather, the couch was a tight squeeze for 2 of us to spend extended periods of time on it. But the beds, very comfortable, shower was hot and pressure was good. Would recommend »

«It was a cute cottage on the lake although not extremely clean and very cold . Hot water only lasts about 5ish minutes. Besides that excellent stay and made me consider moving upstate .»

«If you want a house that is dripping in charm, check this one out. It's an adorable home with good juju that is only a few minutes walk to the heart of Phoenicia, including the lovely Esopus Creek, of which we provided a photo. We greatly appreciated the comfortable bed, as well as the sauna in the wellness room, and communication with the host was always clear and quick. Although we didn't cook much, the kitchen is thoughtfully appointed; we enjoyed the delicious coffee from the Nescafe ...

«It is what it is. I am way too old to be doing that style of camping anymore. Just not for me. There was a lot of communication when I booked but haven't heard anything since. I didn't realize some of the things when I booked it.I guess I didn't read or it wasn't there.I don't know. But that hike in and out kinda sucked! The toilet is so crooked.It's hard to go to the bathroom. I get roughing it and camping isn't glamorous?But there's a few things that could make this just a little bit nicer of ...

«We had a great time staying here! The house is a gorgeous historic house with modern amenities. It was a short drive to Kingston which was super convenient. We loved that we could bring our dog with us as well. It is on a main road, but we didn't find that to be a disturbance at all. I would definitely come back here again!!»
