Fint for en natt ved sen ankomst før videre reise. Frokosten var ikke noe spesiell, dårlig merking av allergener. Men utenom frokost, rent og behagelig.

God lydisolasjon og deilig AC
En fantastisk plass å være når temperaturen utenfor rundet 30 garder. Veldig god AC, og rommet ble så deilig kaldt at en måtte krype under dyna. Veldig still og god lysisolasjon mot flyplassen, som resulterte i at en ikke hørte et eneste fly. Veldig god beliggenhet rett bved avgang Nord Terminalen, og direkte tilgang til shuttle mellom Nord og Sør-Terminal (på utsiden av security, som lar en kjøre frem og tilbake akuratt når det skulle passe en - 3 min transfere).

For a hotel that is attached to the airport this was exactly as I could have hoped. So convenient to the north terminal. Clean, comfortable rooms. Couldn’t hear the planes at all. Great modern bathroom. Multiple dining options. Reasonable price. Would definitely stay again if travelling through Gatwick.

The Sofitel experience is the best I've ever had! The staff is kind, helpful, and friendly. The room was spacious, comfortable, and affordable. Very clean. The hotel is designed with a modern flair and has 4 restaurants. We were treated to a delicious Continental breakfast and enjoyed the Thai/Chinese restaurant. The passageway connecting the hotel with Gatwick airport and, via south terminal, the train station makes this hotel convenient. No need to get a taxi or Uber. My husband and I look forward to returning to Sofitel Gatwick! A big thank you to all the kind staff, especially Harrish, Alessia, Steven, and the rest whose names I don't recall.

We liked the upgrade option with the canapés and drinks and the buffet breakfast was fresh, well stocked the area clean, staff was attentive. Would highly recommend this hotel. Great value too. Only constructive criticism would be the room temperature and controls. Our room was quite warm and temp controls didn’t work well.

The hotel was clean, efficient and the rooms were of a decent size. My only comment is the poor sign posting in the airport. Hotels yes, Sofitel is not well sign posted.

Really liked the Sofitel. Very comfortable bed made it feel like you were floating thanks to the mattress topper. Nice environment and so convenient for the North terminal. Tried the Asian restaurant which was good with friendly staff.

Convenient walk from train station to the welcoming Sofitel. Nicely appointed stylish room overlooking the lobby and bar. Enjoyed the ambience in the downstairs bar. Next morning after we checked out the friendly staff looked after our bags while we trained into London for last minute shopping before catching our evening flight from Gatwick. So easy so would definitely stay again.

We booked 3 rooms and requested they be near each other, two connecting. I received confirmation from Sofitel that our requests could be met. This was OVER 2 MONTHS before the stay. At check-in, we were given 3 rooms on COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FLOORS. When I asked about our requests, the receptionist said "Sorry, there are no more connecting rooms, guests who checked-in earlier got them" EXCUSE ME? We booked a hotel at the airport because we had an evening flight & it wasnt after-hours. REMINDER: I RECEIVED CONFIRMATION OF CONNECTING ROOMS 2 MONTHS IN ADVANCE. I showed the confirmation email and the receptionist said the message didn't come from the hotel. There was no record of our request. Well then someone is parading as Sofitel on Expedia and replying to guests because its clearly signed "Sofitel London Gatwick"! At this point we were all tired (baby, 2 kids, grandparents, and my husband & I). Three separate floors was absolutely not an option. "The best they could do" was two rooms on one floor (opposite sides of the hotel) and one room on a separate floor. As my son and I tiptoed in our pajamas across the hotel to our second room (our family packed a single suitcase) a woman checked-in to the room ACROSS THE HALL. I find the entire situation COMPLETELY absurd. A hotel of this size should be able to manage communications and accommodate their loyal guests (we have stayed 3x in 12 months and were offered room upgrades the day before. There were plenty of empty rooms)

Last minute booking prior to an early morning flight. On arrival, reception couldn't find my reservation (maybe because I booked it about an hour earlier so it hadn't come through on their system yet), but did eventually find it and upgraded me for my troubles. The bed was ridiculously comfortable. Very convenient location - literally steps from the terminal/shuttle. One thing I would have loved would be to have a bathrobe - but that's a tiny gripe. I would stay again.
