«I was a completely unplanned visitor who trekked the moors at night to reach the Inn. Though the only thing that happened on the moors was fulfilling an American's silly Holmesian fantasy of walking the moors at night, everyone was concerned for my safety and I really appreciated that. My stay was wonderful, the food was really delicious, and everyone with whom I spoke was just up-front and pleasant. I will be back some day and guess where I'll stay?»

«Had a lovely relaxing time with my girlfriend and her husband, room was so clean and had everything we needed, absolutely loved being able to log into Netflix on the tv which was a great size. We were checked in by a lovely young man who also served us our food, he was very attentive and even brought us extra sides for our burgers. Exceptional service from a lovely lady who served us breakfast and made sure we had fresh coffee immediately, she was also fantastic with all other customers. We will ...

«This tiny Inn is definitely worth a visit! The new owners were very friendly and welcoming and the room was comfortable and very clean. The history of the building meant that the bar is tiny, but very welcoming - we spent a great evening drinking and chatting with locals. No food available on the first night, but the owners were happy to recommend and book somewhere for us to eat. Their kitchen was open the second night and the quality was excellent. «Nyoppusset, pent og sjarmerende hotell - trivelig, britisk på sitt beste. Stort rom med gode senger, badet moderne og funksjonelt. Vi tok middagen i hotellet, og var meget fornøyd med kjøkkenet. Betjeningen vennlig og effektiv, fra resepsjonisten til servitørene. Med parken utenfor og Hexham Abbey rett rundt hjørnet for hotellet fikk vi en fin kveldstur i en vakker engelsk småby.
