Good: least expensive option and as another guest put it “ it’s a place to spend the night and that is it”.
Very close to the airport.
Uber to wilton manors was quick.
BAD:
Shuttle may as well not be there as when you call from the airport they don’t pick up nor respond to texts.
Distance to anything but a Home Depot is not walkable.
The rooms are cleaned but remain musky. Seems unavoidable given exposure to elements constantly.
Hotel rooms all open to outside walkways. People at times smoke in the hallways or have loud mobile calls and you can hear it and smell it.
There is no lobby nor anything you could associate with getting help.
The person at “security” were you check in should get a raise. She was working nonstop for days.
Despite room away from the road and actually good noise isolation windows and doors you can still hear the cars and horns.
I want to give the staff props because seems to they do a good effort. But the property has to br tough to manage.
Recommendation: pay the extra $50 per night for a hotel with rooms indoors if you are going to Florida.
