1. Sleeping Lion Casita in Fort Davis, Texas. Explore The Davis Mountains and area.

Fort Davis

«Stopped in for a quick overnight stay while picking up our youngest at Prude Ranch summer camp. The little house was super clean, very comfortable and well appointed. Comfortable bed and linens, great tv, kitchenette and bathroom. Quiet, simple luxury in lovely Fort Davis, and very affordable in comparison to hotel rooms in the area. Checking and checkout were a breeze, and we felt right at home ! Did not have a chance to enjoy the rooftop deck, but it looked lovely. Would definitely ...

9. New! The Buffalo-Shipping Container in Alpine

«The property was beautiful and we loved the remote feeling. The stars were beautiful to watch at night! My only complaint is that two weeks before the reservation I asked about if a portable grill, stovetop burner or small charcoal grill was aloud and then messaged two days before and never received an answer. I did have to contact the host day of to receive the code because somehow I didn’t get an email from the host about check in and WiFi code. That was sorted out when I called instead of ...

«Staying in the containers was an unique, fun experience, especially traveling with children. Cleanliness was top notch and water pressure was a nice surprise. Highlight was sitting on the roof deck in the evenings watching the wildlife, stars, and playing UNO in the breeze. The winds picked up during our stay so stars weren't as visible as we hoped but that's just Texas. Thank you for the early check-in and travel extras when we realized our toiletry bag was left at home! Oops. The only thing ...
