Luxury Blue Duomo is a prestigious luxury apartment for rent in Florence. The property is located in an exceptional location a stone's throw from Piazza del Duomo. Recently renovated with quality materials and great attention to details, this house can accommodate up to a maximum of 6 people.

The apartment consists of three double bedrooms (in all there are a king size bed, a double bed and two single beds), all equipped with a private smart TV, a luxurious living room divided between a dining and a relaxation area, a kitchen and two complete bathrooms, one with bathtub and one with shower.

This was a great location for our 3 days in Florence. Property was large, clean, ready for us early, and had everything we needed. Person who met us with the keys was very helpful/responsive. Only one thing that was disappointing but completely out of the control of the owner was that every morning we were awakened by the garbage truck coming by to empty the garbage that was right across the street from our unit. It was 6:00 am every morning that we were there. May want to wear earplugs—- otherwise it was perfect.

The living room couch should be cleaned or replaced, the AC unit in one of the rooms leaked water droplets on the headboard and my head…so don’t use the AC and you will be fine. Lots of Mosquitoes in the unit not sure how they were getting in. Otherwise the unit was clean and the location was OK

They only give you one key that you have to fiddle to work, with for all six people to share. Most places have a combination, a digital or multiple keys. The garbage trucks show up just outside the window between 5 AM and 6:30 AM three separate times to collect three separate large trash receptacles. Nothing the landlords can do about that.There were three extra pillows and three comforters, but no covers for those. I called and asked for them and they said someone would come, but never did. One thin bedroom only allows for two separate twins so only one person could use the comforter. Location was very nice. Rooms were very nice. The arms are 10 feet tall, so can’t really be used. Almost no places to hang your towels or clothes.

Perfect location. Okay accomodations.

The electricity did not work when we arrived and it took several hours for that to be fixed. It was hot! The plumbing in one of the bathrooms needed work. We dealt with it. The place is in a perfect location to walk to the major sites. The place is smaller and darker than advertised, but serviceable.

Location is amazing! We were in the heart of the city! Enough room for our family of five! Property coordinator showed up to check us in and he was a delight. Only suggestion would be the property desperately needs a new couch. (And not white)

Nice overall and good location

This place was a nice clean apartment in a great location. Nice bedrooms. The family room was small, compared to the pics, and they could offer a few handovers for the kitchen-it was sparse. Washing machine is pretty nasty, just needs to be cleaned out. But nice place overall.

This was the dirtiest apartment I have even seen! Mold in both bathrooms, blood on pillows and furniture. Bugs that had been killed stuck to the walls, dirt all along the floors and moldings! Dirty white comforters not the blue ones shown in photos! Stay away! Disgusting!

Ideal Location Near the Center of Florence

Truly excellent property three minutes walk from the Duomo in Florence. Spacious rooms with very comfortable beds. Owner is very proactive and responsive. We had a wonderful stay.

!!DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! WE WERE SCAMMED AND TRAPPED!!!

Save yourself and please do not stay here! This place is not what the pictures seem. First off this place is not maintained, as the lock broke off the only exit on our first day and we were not able to get out of the apartment for over 2 hours! We were on our way to a tour booked months in advance that we missed and lost due to being trapped in the hot and humid apartment. We called all the numbers we had with no answer as well as VRBO with no success of getting emergency help from anyone. Just as I was getting ready to call emergency services,my husband finally got the door open and got us out. Making it worse is the place is full of mosquitoes and bugs, my kids were bit all over body and face. Nightly we would check the apartment and kill as many as we could yet they were still getting in or hiding in apartment. We could not open windows because of the mosquitoes so not only were we hot but we had to put up with the moldy mildew smell of entire apartment. I bought scents but nothing worked. Walls were covered with dead bugs and mosquitoes everywhere, it was disgusting. The host was zero help and did not care that we were trapped in his apartment because of the terrible maintenance and upkeep. Save your money and don’t let this place ruin your vacation. Missing out on tours booked months in advance and leaving with itchy bug bites was not what we expected would happen. Do not stay here.

Great Location, Average Apartmen

You can not beat the location of this apartment!! Right down the street from the Duomo and around the corner from Accademia Gallery of Florence where the statue of David is displayed. The communication with realtor was great and they were very accommodating when we arrived earlier than expected. When you enter the building there is a musty smell that is a bit overwhelming at first. The apartment itself was perfect for our family of six. Plenty of room, two bathrooms, and large family room/dining area. Unfortunately, there was no binder/instructions telling us how appliances worked or local suggestions. The white couch is very tired and full of stains. There was no extra linens for pull out couch, but honestly the pull out bed was horrible. The apartment was very cold when we arrived, so much so we needed to contact realtor. We were told to contact for the plumber to deal with it. That was a HARD NO!!! We are not contacting a plumber and waiting around for them to service the heat on our vacation! Thank goodness they had mini-splits which worked well. Would recommend for location and space, but consider other factors mentioned.

Great Location - a few tweaks and it’s a 5 Star

Great location near (5 min) the Duomo, restaurants, and cafes. Walking distance to the train station (15-20 depending on if you have luggage). 3 BR, but the small 3rd BR is down a narrow set of stairs and it’s significantly colder there than in the other parts of the apartment. We were only 4, so we didn’t use that room. Floor plan is exactly as pictured. Easy check-in, but it would have been nice if the heat was already turned on as we were contacted about the time of our arrival, so it would have been nice to have the heat already on. Our visit was in January and it was pretty cold. Once the heat got started, it was nice and cozy. It was nice to have the washer/dryer combo, but we ran out of detergent. We only ran 3 loads. It is very small, not like what we are used to in the US. Overall, it’s a great apartment in a great location. We would definitely stay again.

Everything Perfect

Such an amazing place to stay while in Florence. Close to everything and plenty of space inside the unit. Our kids enjoyes their separate hidden room. Was missing few essentials from Kitchen but nothing we couldn't buy ourselves quickly.
