«it was an excellent location for our trip to cartmel races ,very clean and tidy and a spoons on your doorstep, what more could you want»

«Me and my friends were really looking forward to this weekend away, was very disappointed that first they toke my money from my card when it was pay at property I had to call to find out why? The breakfast food some was finished so we didn’t get some of the things the toaster was broken you had to keep waiting for cups, the surna was broken so was the jacuzzi, the person that makes the room didn’t even bother to re do the room. They tried to change be again for the massage when check out even ...

«The property has real presence and looks stunning. Its decor is in keeping with the property and looks a bit worn but makes it feel loved. Breakfast was good but we had to wait both days for the food to be topped up as there’s only one waiter trying to do everything. The room was large and bed was comfy. The bathroom was not good no water pressure so water came out very slowly and not very hot. Shower unit was very noisy and no heating for such a big bathroom apart from a towel rail so it was ...

«I rarely write reviews about holiday stays but had to do so for our three night stay at Grange Manor. The room was fabulous-luxurious,spotless and so comfortable and the extra finishing touches made it a home from home. Breakfast served every morning in the room was a delight. No noisy dining room nor rush to have table cleared away. All was at our pace which was what we wanted. A peaceful haven in a beautiful setting with the most friendly and helpful staff made this break first class. We ...

«We used the Hare & hounds as a stopover on our way home but will give serious consideration to returning to explore the Lakes from there»

«Overall, a pleasant stay, although there were a few areas that could certainly be improved. Parking was convenient, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and the shower was very good. The bed was also comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. However, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing, particularly the carpet, which was covered in stains. This gave the room a tired and poorly maintained appearance and certainly detracted from the overall experience. Another disappointment was the lack ...

«Hotellet ligger langt unna tettsteder, bil anbefales. Ganske stort hotell, noen deler bærer preg av slitasje. Bra frokost, variert utvalg. Hyggelig peisestue ved siden av resepsjonen. Innendørs svømmebasseng og boblebad er et pluss. Stor parkeringsplass. Grei Wifi. Varierende servicegrad i resepsjonen (personavhengig). Gjorde et forsøk på å spise middag i restauranten The Huntsman's Inn på samme sted, men etter å ha ventet i 20 minutter uten å få bestilt, forlot vi stedet.»

«Room was tired and bed uncomfortable. Car park had no lighting which made it difficult to navigate in the dark.»

«The location was perfect - at the north end of the bay with a lovely sea view - and was very clean with everything I needed in my room. I did feel very young - I'm 64! - but thankfully only used the hotel as a one night stay and didn't spend any time in it, other than to shower, change & sleep. So for me, it was exactly what I wanted. I wouldn't use it to stay and spend time there though as there never seemed to be anyone on the reception or at the bar (which I only visited once) but someone ...

«Lovely renovated sea view room, quiet. Great breakfast. Only downside was the lack of an elevator. Staff were really helpful and allowed a late checkout, organised at breakfast with no problem.»
