It's situated approx 7 mins away from town in one direction, so you can leave the car on the drive, (a major plus) and 10 mins walk away from the woods in the other: ideal for an early morning, or any time dog walk! «This location is definitely where the action is! Steps from Portobello road and all the amazing stalls. Be aware that between the hours of 10-4 on market days the property is not accessible by car due to barriers. It's also right by a pub that gets a bit noisy on weekend nights so if you have small kids just be aware. The house is absolutely lovely with two kitchens and two very nice large bathrooms. «The owner did not mention that the bathroom was a shared bathroom. The bed was afwully bad. We left after the first night and asked the owner for refunding the other 2 nights.
