«The wonderful experience of overnight cruise on Milford Sound. The whole crew was very attentive and helpful to our needs. Our vegetarian food was well catered and delicious. Same thing for breakfast.
Our kayaking and swimming in the sound experience was very well and we will remember this for a long time 🙏
Captain Jack took us close to waterfalls, mists, wildlife - sea lions and penguins 👍👍

«The lodge is located in a very remote location, despite of getting groceries are so inconvenient, Blake showed great generosity and hospitality to all the guests, make us feel like staying in an old friend's house.
Kitchen, bathroom, and bed linen are of 5-stars clean. If you're planning to go on the Hump Ridge Track, choose Rarakau Lodge for your pre-departure accommodation is definitely the best option. »

«A good accomodation in walking distance to everything in the centre of Te Anau. Easy access by car. Quite spacious room and bath. Laundry. Clean. Only complaints are that the cleaning personell threw away stuff we had not put in the garbage. We had planned on reusing some bottles and boxes, and had put them away for keeping, and they still threw them out. That was not OK. And the internet connection only worked properly the first night we were there. The rest of the time it was either gone or ...

«Awesome place if you’re out these ways. Philippa and Rob are amazing hosts. We got a garden view room with a lovely view. Convenient location. The hosts let us park at theirs while we were on the overnight cruise in Doubtful Sound. Breakfast was included and it was a clocked breakfast. Will definitely stay again»
