«Beyond amazing! A marvelous trip in our last day in New Zealand. The weather in the Milford Sound was exceptional starting with rain during our drive which got all the waterfalls hyperactive; once we got on the Fiordland Jewel, the sky cleared and the sun shined for the duration of the trip with calms winds. The staff on the cruise boat from captain Francis to the crew Abby, Sarah, the cook Chris and Sunil were exceptional. One of the best cruises ever. We spent the night in the Captains suite ...

«We had a very good stay in a comfortable room and bed. We really liked the afternoon tea and drinks in the library upstairs as it brought guests together and made for a very pleasant evening. We were in the Bishops Retreat and thoroughly enjoyed the dressing up. A fun stay. Thank you »

«Awesome place if you’re out these ways. Philippa and Rob are amazing hosts. We got a garden view room with a lovely view. Convenient location. The hosts let us park at theirs while we were on the overnight cruise in Doubtful Sound. Breakfast was included and it was a clocked breakfast. Will definitely stay again»

Arrived with the intention of staying one night, tore myself away after 10 nights ! More than 100% recommendation. Not to be missed if you visit Southland.»

«Stayed here for a night before a Doubtful Sound cruise. The location was perfect (right down the street from the RealNZ ferry). The facilities were simple but very comfy. Right along the water with multiple paths around the grounds. Felt like a cool little community with many different travelers. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to this area!»
