«Really loved my stay. The staff were wonderful and provided excellent hospitality. We meant a lot of people from around the world. We loved the nature. I tried kayaking and the outdoor hot tub. My only tip is to make sure you are covered up as there are a lot of sandflies and wear insect repellent. Overall loved our stay and very memorable»

«Awesome place if you’re out these ways. Philippa and Rob are amazing hosts. We got a garden view room with a lovely view. Convenient location. The hosts let us park at theirs while we were on the overnight cruise in Doubtful Sound. Breakfast was included and it was a clocked breakfast. Will definitely stay again»

«Leiligheten vi hadde var flott for en familie på 5 med boblebad og alt som man behøvde. Parkering rett utenfor døren, rent og pent med god kvalitet. 5 minutters gange til butikk og flere restauranter, eller 30 sekunder ned til stranden. »

«The room was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. Lost one star mostly for the bathroom. The sink was ridiculously tiny and there was no electrical outlet. They have an odd requirement that you have to verbally tell the staff that you want a cooked breakfast the next morning, however, when we rang the bell to tell them the afternoon before no one answered. We then got involved chatting with another guest, which was very nice, but forgot to try the bell again. We had to leave earlier ...

«The unit was adequate for a two night stay. Very convenient for early morning boat trip on Doubtful Sound. Beautiful view of lake. Road a stone’s throw in front of unit but not very busy and bedroom was at the rear. Old fashioned interior and furnishings. Plenty of hot water, clean bedding and towels. No television but good WiFi. Overall we felt pricing was a bit on the high side. Parking beside unit. »

«Generally ok place to stay. Has everything you need like all other hotels. Unfortunately the 1 bed apartment are not sound proof. So we had a poor nights sleep with hearing the people above us walking around and playing music until midnight and then car doors closing at 7am. The rooms don’t feel very private either with big glass doors in the bedroom and lounge so you have people walking past and looking in. Also worth noting, no air con »
