«Le Grand Alcazar is a hotel with soul and by soul, I mean people working there and architecture. It is difficult to find the right words to describe how friendly and helpful everyone was. It was beyond our expectations. We were family with small children, and we had a great time there. I recommend a lunch in the room with pool. «Situated in the medina, very convenient for shopping and dining. The room was clean and the bathroom too but there is this sewer smell which is understandable because it’s an old riad and could have come through the open window from outside. The manager’s hospitality will make up for whatever structural lacking. Nordine welcomed us with mint tea and helped us arrange for our day tours, walked us to tour meeting place. «Estuvimos tres noches y realmente fue un acierto este alojamiento. Es muy sencillo pero tiene todo lo que necesitas para poder descansar. La habitación era muy amplia y con baño en suite. La cama enorme y muy cómoda. Tanto Youssef como su madre estuvieron pendientes todo el tiempo de todo lo que necesitamos. Preguntamos si nos podían cocinar por la noche y fue realmente un gusto. Si volvemos a Fez unos días, repetiremos con ellos. »

«I loved the beautiful Riad! The staff were very kind and extremely helpful, the only downside was the location. You need to go through many small narrow streets to get to it, I would recommend this if you are going in a group or at least with a friend. If i had gone alone, I would have felt scared to walk by myself to find it. The rooftop patio was also very beautiful! »

«As an American, this was such a unique experience. The riad was absolutely beautiful. I was continually in awe. Though there is so mich history, it was modern in the way it needed to be modern.
