Come relax at our private home on tropical Manasota Key! Your toughest decision will be whether to swim at the semi-private beach on the Gulf of Mexico or in the pool with a view of Lemon Bay.

This charming home has everything you need for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway. The main living area has an open floor plan with a spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The living quarters are separated to allow friends or family to have a space all their own. One side of the house has a private owners suite with a king bed and full private bathroom with a walk in shower. The opposite side of the home has a bedroom with a queen bed with its own pool access, a bedroom with two twin beds and a large full bathroom. The covered patio area provides opportunities for open air dining and is attached to the screened-in lanai. The living room and all bedrooms are equipped with smart TV’s with streaming capabilities. Other amenities include an outdoor shower, gas grill and laundry room.

Manasota Key is a picturesque barrier island with an old Florida feel. The location offers easy access to plenty of outdoor activities including fishing, kayaking, golf, hiking and of course, beach combing! Both the sunsets over the gulf AND the sunrises over the bay are breathtaking! First-rate restaurants are just a mile away and live entertainment is available to you whenever the mood strikes.

There is a $100 per week fee for pool heat.
Guests must be 25 or older to rent.

Home was very clean - had just about anything we needed for the week as far as kitchen utensils, pots and pans, dishes and such. We did have to fill the propane tank for the grill. The kiddos enjoyed the pool. Great location, quick walk to the beach - and there were lots of beach chairs, beach towels and sand toys to enjoy. Would stay here again for sure.

Our stay here was great! The saltwater pool was warm. The home had the best accommodations. The neighborhood was peaceful yet close to bars and restaurants with transportation accessible via Stumpy's Free Rides (just be sure to tip your driver) Just a few minute walk to the beach with beautiful sunsets. One couldn't ask for a better host. Thank you, Kirsten.

Location to the quiet beach is a daily pleasure. The pool is wonderful and well maintained. The hosts respond quickly to any concerns but in 4 weeks we had no need to contact them. Additionally, the house is tucked away in a very quiet alcove

The Sand Dollar was a wonderful place to stay with our two young children and parents. The pool was perfect and the walk to the beach was incredibly easy and quick. The beach was very private and beautiful. We enjoyed looking for shark teeth and tried to beat another person’s record in the guest book - 2000. But we fell short - if we didn’t have young kids that needed naps we would have beat the record for sure! The home has almost everything you need. There is a free golf cart shuttle that will come pick you up certain hours of the day, which we used several times. A very convenient location to restaurants and town. We would stay here again for sure.

Beautiful home in an excellent area and very close to the beach! We enjoyed being able to walk across the street to the beach anytime we wanted and to have the ability to return at anypoint for naps for the little one! Excellent communication and easy check in! The house also had beach chairs, an umbrella and coolers to use as well! The pool was great as well to relax in while at the house!

The house was spacious with everything we needed. The house could use a good deep cleaning, but other then that it was nice. Beach access was a 2 minute walk literally across the street down a few house and your on the beach. The pool was also nice to enjoy on a hot day. The beach was never crowded. We enjoyed walking along the beach looking for shark teeth and snorkeling for sea shells. I would recommend staying at this house and would definitely stay again.

Relaxing Week

First time to Englewood. Enjoyed it completely. Short walk to beach-Nice screened in pool area. We visited the end of June, very quiet and peaceful. Don’t know how the busy season is. Owner was very helpful and pleasant. We will definitely be back. Found some great restaurants close by.

Fun Times in Manasota Key!

We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here! We walked the beach every morning and watched the sun set every night. We saw dolphins as we kayaked in the bay! And had excellent food and spirits at both the Lockn Key and the White Elephant. Our down time by the pool was so relaxing. What a great way to spend time together with family!

Lovely house, great communication, beautiful beaches

A Tranquil Retreat in Old Florida Style

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely old Florida-style home. The property was super clean, and even amidst ongoing construction and rebuilding from hurricane damage, the quiet setting offered a peaceful retreat. The listing pictures were spot on, accurately showcasing the charm and comfort of the home. We particularly enjoyed the pristine pool. The location was fantastic, with just a short walk to the beach where we delighted in finding shark teeth and witnessing stunning sunsets over the Gulf of America. The internet connection was excellent, allowing us to stay connected during our stay. The hosts were also incredibly responsive, always getting back to us within a few hours. One of our favorite restaurant spots was the Lighthouse Grill, which offered reasonable pricing and a delightful waterfront view. Additionally, we had an amazing fishing charter experience and enjoyed a Fossil Hunt in Arcadia. Overall, our experience was exceptional, and we highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Great Location

Great location, easy access to mainland. Private pool is fantastic. Easy walk to the beach. Hosts are quick to respond, accessible, and truly caring towards their guests. Would definitely return!
