Private home with a pool on a tropical island, only a 2 minute walk to the Gulf!

Come relax at our private home on tropical Manasota Key! Your toughest decision will be whether to swim at the semi-private beach on the Gulf of Mexico or in the pool with a view of Lemon Bay.

This charming home has everything you need for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway. The main living area has an open floor plan with a spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The living quarters are separated to allow friends or family to have a space all their own. One side of the house has a private owners suite with a king bed and full private bathroom with a walk in shower. The opposite side of the home has a bedroom with a queen bed with its own pool access, a bedroom with two twin beds and a large full bathroom. The covered patio area provides opportunities for open air dining and is attached to the screened-in lanai. The living room and all bedrooms are equipped with smart TV’s with streaming capabilities. Other amenities include an outdoor shower, gas grill and laundry room.

Manasota Key is a picturesque barrier island with an old Florida feel. The location offers easy access to plenty of outdoor activities including fishing, kayaking, golf, hiking and of course, beach combing! Both the sunsets over the gulf AND the sunrises over the bay are breathtaking! First-rate restaurants are just a mile away and live entertainment is available to you whenever the mood strikes.

There is a $100 per week fee for pool heat.
Guests must be 25 or older to rent.

The Sand Dollar was a wonderful place to stay with our two young children and parents. The pool was perfect and the walk to the beach was incredibly easy and quick. The beach was very private and beautiful. We enjoyed looking for shark teeth and tried to beat another person’s record in the guest book - 2000. But we fell short - if we didn’t have young kids that needed naps we would have beat the record for sure! The home has almost everything you need. There is a free golf cart shuttle that will come pick you up certain hours of the day, which we used several times. A very convenient location to restaurants and town. We would stay here again for sure.

This house has it all. A quiet neighborhood, a beautiful heated pool, TV’s in all 3 bedrooms and a 3 minute walk to the beach. The hosts are great and responsive. We always love staying here.

Beautiful home in an excellent area and very close to the beach! We enjoyed being able to walk across the street to the beach anytime we wanted and to have the ability to return at anypoint for naps for the little one! Excellent communication and easy check in! The house also had beach chairs, an umbrella and coolers to use as well! The pool was great as well to relax in while at the house!

The house was spacious with everything we needed. The house could use a good deep cleaning, but other then that it was nice. Beach access was a 2 minute walk literally across the street down a few house and your on the beach. The pool was also nice to enjoy on a hot day. The beach was never crowded. We enjoyed walking along the beach looking for shark teeth and snorkeling for sea shells. I would recommend staying at this house and would definitely stay again.

Relaxing Week

First time to Englewood. Enjoyed it completely. Short walk to beach-Nice screened in pool area. We visited the end of June, very quiet and peaceful. Don’t know how the busy season is. Owner was very helpful and pleasant. We will definitely be back. Found some great restaurants close by.

Just what we were looking for.

Fun Times in Manasota Key!

We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here! We walked the beach every morning and watched the sun set every night. We saw dolphins as we kayaked in the bay! And had excellent food and spirits at both the Lockn Key and the White Elephant. Our down time by the pool was so relaxing. What a great way to spend time together with family!

Lovely house, great communication, beautiful beaches

We enjoyed our stay, the house was comfortable, we loved the screened pool area and proximity to the beach. We also appreciated good communication and easy check in process. A Tranquil Retreat in Old Florida Style

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely old Florida-style home. The property was super clean, and even amidst ongoing construction and rebuilding from hurricane damage, the quiet setting offered a peaceful retreat. The listing pictures were spot on, accurately showcasing the charm and comfort of the home. We particularly enjoyed the pristine pool. The location was fantastic, with just a short walk to the beach where we delighted in finding shark teeth and witnessing stunning sunsets over the Gulf of America. The internet connection was excellent, allowing us to stay connected during our stay. The hosts were also incredibly responsive, always getting back to us within a few hours. One of our favorite restaurant spots was the Lighthouse Grill, which offered reasonable pricing and a delightful waterfront view. Additionally, we had an amazing fishing charter experience and enjoyed a Fossil Hunt in Arcadia. Overall, our experience was exceptional, and we highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Perfect Location-Steps from the Gulf

Kirsten and Jeremy were perfect hosts. The house was super clean and well stocked. Plenty of towels, dishes, and cooking staples. Florida is super-hot in July and August, but the air conditioner kept everything nice and cool. The pool is a nice addition as well. Thanks for a nice time!

Perfect for our Family!

We stayed with our 4 kids for a week. The house was as described and was just what we needed. The goal for the trip was to beach, swim, find shark teeth, fish and visit family. We had a great time doing all these things. Owners and property manager were accessible and helped when needed. The pool was perfect to cool off on hot days. The large kitchen table accommodated our family. The path to the beach was great. Would recommend!

Wonderful Stay with everything we needed and more!

Excellent location, very nice neighbors nearby. Kitchen was stocked when we arrived. Much more than any other rental we've seen. All the basics already there plus much more! Pool was wonderful that outlooks the bay plus is covered so no bugs. Beds slept very comfortable and plenty of room for all 6 of us. Beach is just a short walk and we even fished from the bay and caught a few. Very wonderful home there in Englewood, FL right on Manasota Key. We hope to be back very soon!

From Missouri, had several young adults and a teen with us.

This is an amazing property. It had everything you would need a pinch. The pool was the best feature as far as coming off the beach and wanting to cool off , it was really an amazing space to relax and spend time. Also for those who had too much beach time . The house it self was well stocked with towels, linens, etc. There are a few items in the kitchen that maybe we were missing but we made do no big deal. It was just a walk to the beach through a path. The beach was really private only a few other families at a time were there . Bonus for people with several guests : you can still call the little golf cart Stumpy’s to get a ride to restaurants, for different opinions on places to eat. If I had to say one negative thing it would be that the grill was really not in a shape that you could grill on, it was rusty not in good shape for food period!!! We were hoping to grill burgers, brats and fish but that did not happen. We used the oven and the range. It worked but not want we had wanted. We enjoyed our time and thought it was well worth it!!!
