«The house is decent and located in a good neighborhood and about 30-35 mins away from the Boothbay harbor. The instructions from the host were pretty clear. The house had ample towels and toiletries. The one thing I would like to mention is the host should think about providing fans in all the rooms, since there is no ventilation and they have only one spilt air conditioning unit in the passage upstairs which does not give air to the 3 individual rooms. It got really hot in the rooms. »

«This old house was amazing! Plenty of room for the 21 of us. Such unique interior design, I think we counted 68 doors on the interior! The kitchen looked small from the pictures but there is an over abundance of storage areas. Probably the best stocked I have ever had in a vacation rental. Easy to get to Acadia too!»

«Jocelyn's home was beautiful and just as described in the listing. The house was perfect for our 3 families with multiple kids. Our group loved all the different outdoor activities available, the fire pit, lake, hot tub, disc golf, and corn hole. The game room was also a hit with our kids. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. If we are ever back in the area, we would love another opportunity to stay at Jocelyn's. »

Rental properties can feel like a gamble sometimes with mattress quality, but the owners of the Spofford Lodge spared no expense to furnish their rooms with high quality items.
