«I greatly enjoyed the combination of comfort, beautiful Yurt interior and outdoor living for 4 days. The wood burner gets the Yurt very cosy in a short while if it is chilly. Charlie was very helpful and considerate. There is some noise from the passing road but the views and secluded position more than make up for that. I would happily return.»

«We booked last minute to get out of the bustle of the city. Suzanne and John were really thoughtful in sharing that there was unexpected roadwork outside the cottage, giving us the opportunity to find another place to stay but we decided to go ahead and are so glad that we did. The cottage is comfortable and quaint with all the amenities you need to relax. The cottage is walking distance to local cafes, restaurants, and bars. «Lovely old cottage, furnished well with a nice kitchen having everything you need for eating in (except for a sieve or collander). Clay tiles on ground floor make the floor cold so bring slippers in low season. Some very low beams so tall people beware. Couldn't light the gas fire though. Surprised to find slow-moving bees on window sills or on floor each day when returning from day out.»

The little local store a few paces away had everything needed to stock up and the hotel/ pub The Fleece was perfect for a drink in the evening.»

«Beautiful cottage with Inglenook fire place. Warm and comfortable and great for exploring Lavenham and surrounding walks. The only disappointing factor was the cleanliness in the kitchen with dirty cups and glass in the bottom of the dishwasher. Considering you pay quite a lot for cleaning and were not allowed to enter the accommodation until 5pm, cleaning was not top of the agenda!»

«We have just returned from an absolutely fabulous stay at Harkstead Hall. The house is beautiful. Spacious and has absolutely everything you need for a fun stay with friends. I went prepared with all the usual kitchen essentials but found that it was not needed. Dishwasher tablets, coffee filters, it was all there. «Our party enjoyed the comfort and coziness of this 500 yr old property. We loved walking in the parkland and sitting by the roaring fire. Everyone in our group was able to enjoy day trips and we were close to the family wedding we attended. The countryside is gorgeous and serene and the nights a quiet. Lovely place. Highly recommend.»
