«The Spofford Inn (Inkwell Room) was beautiful and meticulously decorated with beautiful pieces to not only make the space modern and clean but keep the charm of the original building. The hosts were excellent at communicating and accommodating all our needs. It was is walking distance of a few restaurants and yummy ice cream shop. We were not in Bucksport very long but definitely enjoyed our stay.»

«This is a wonderful place which we really enjoyed, but a couple things are not in the listing but should be:1. The water is not drinkable and no bottle water will be supplied. You need to bring enough bottled water to last your entire stay. The water has a distinct odor and metallic/sulphur taste probably because it is drawn directly from the lake or a spring nearby and not filtered or treated. However, it's OK for showering and doing dishes.2. There are a lot of biting insects, probably due to ...

«Great place to stay to visit Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The house was clean and cozy with comfortable beds. Highly recommend if you don't want to stay in the high priced, crazy busy area but still be close to all the sights!!»

«Everything was great but at this price the expectation is better and clearer coffee pot and softer toilet tissue. Three large king beds were excellent, better than expected. Bath towels also were excellent size and quality. We knew and we're able to manage with only one and half bath but if you have more people staying at the property, then only one shower may delay in every body getting ready.»

«Our Host was very responsive and accommodating to our communication with him. The house was comfortable and clean and Ellsworth has just what we needed to facilitate our visits to Acadia Park. Only thing that could have improved it at all would be a fully functioning coffee maker, since I can't start the day with out my java. We did figure out the single cup function eventually and all was well.We would return if our travels took us back to the Acadia Area.»

«The home was very nice and well maintained. We enjoyed the extra and thoughtful amenities like snacks, selection of coffee and teas, women toiletries. The location is central to a lot of places. Parking is ample. I was kinda nervous about non central AC, but the window ac felt similar to central AC. There was a window ax in every unit and my allergies were ok.We enjoyed our stay.»
