«Joules and her Son were absolutely wonderful hosts. We couldn’t have been made to feel any more welcome and we had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was outstanding - lots of choice and super fresh and tasty. Joules’ baking was a great surprise treat, a lovely touch in our room on arrival and the Brownies later in our stay were out of this world! «This is a little gem of a place with the rooms opposite the pub, they could not do enough for us from making us welcome to excellent food and impeccable service. If you’re looking for a bit of quiet and out of town so noises to a minimum this is ideal and we couldn’t recommend anything better, there was nothing to fault. «We have stopped in many hotels and over the past 10 years and this is up there as an absolute delight. The staff are warm and friendly - all on duty over our stay need to be commended for their commitment to ensure guests feel looked after! «A converted girls' school, this is a quirky kind of a hotel. It does not look much like the pictures from the website - it feels more like a B&B. The interior lay-out is weird, but charming. The staff were nice, the room was quiet, there was an extra heater which was very much appreciated given the cold spell, and it was clean.
