Hoteller nær Trentham Gardens

«Real easy freindly check in. Rooms are clean and adequately appointed. It was a spacious double room, with generous size bathroom with bath tub. Its nice to have iron, ironing board, trouser press, hairdryer and fan. Unfortunately the pillows are a bit inadequate. Provided with 3 very flat, very warn pillows for a double room for two people. We put up with this as it'd been a long day and couldn't be bothered to go to reception. Im sure they would have sorted thisbout if we'd asked. Also the ...

«We were double booked into the house we had paid for but we were taken to a different one around the corner. For the price we paid it was adequate and clean. Sharing a bathroom with 3 lads who had also been double booked into the same house was not too much of a problem and having a fully functioning clean kitchen helped to catering costs reasonable. »

«The bathroom was very dated. It looked like a nursing home. The flooring was extremely old. The bed was too low. Only one bath towel for 2 people. It was definitely not up to standard for a Hub. The staff was friendly and made you feel welcomed. But this hotel needs serious renovations. »

«Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. »

I rarely leave reviews up to this point but was left feeling like this 'apartment' is a room in a multi occupancy house and it felt a bit.....what's the right word......DHSS ish. I didn't use the communal kitchen as someone in there was, well a bit weird, looking disturbed. I just think I was looking for cheap and cheerful. It was cheap. »
