«Host was very responsive. Clean well maintained Maine camp. Everything you need for an off grid camp experience. Enjoyed the wildlife and the view. The lake is warm and shallow. Although we didnt bring a canoe or kayak, it would be a great paddling spot. Some noise from the campground a little down the lake but mostly peaceful. We would return again»

«I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though»

«We had a blast here! The kids loved the lake and the kayaks. Josh was super helpful when we got a flat tire. He helped us fix it, even in the rain! We can't thank you enough for a wonderful weekend!»

«It was very clean. The drive was a little tricky. But gps was made for a reason. It so definitely tiny. It smelled of fresh wood, and the wood work is impressive! If you can’t walk up a small set of stairs I wouldn’t book this. The bed you have to crawl into. Theres not much head room. But we didn’t. We had a great host.»

«Great place to stay to visit Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The house was clean and cozy with comfortable beds. Highly recommend if you don't want to stay in the high priced, crazy busy area but still be close to all the sights!!»

«Check-in was easy-peasy. The place is quite roomy and very welcoming. Note that you will have to climb stairs to get to the 2nd floor. There aren't that many, but may be an issue for those with knee problems. It took a bit to get the stove and microwave to work, but it all worked out. Derek (owner) was easy to communicate with and helped out when needed. This location was perfect for our visit to Acadia. Grocery store was close by so we weren't beholden to tourist prices! «A beautiful little cottage! Our host made sure we had all the comforts of home. Communication was wonderful. Clean & cozy! We enjoyed walking through the trails they made on the property. Only a hour away from Acadia National Park. Wish we had time to stay longer!»
