«A lovely, small Inn right off 95 and close to University of Maine. Breakfast available in the morning and hot soup and ice cream available in the evening (they had Italian Wedding and Beef Chili when I was there). Also, very pet friendly (families had their dogs with them). Highly recommend.»

«Loved everything about this hotel. Check in was pleasant and James gave suggestions on where to grab a cocktail in town. Also enjoyed the fresh baked cookies. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the breakfast provided was far above average with Nantucket pie and cream cheese filled pancakes as options to choose from. Everything in town was easily walkable and Acadia National Park is a very short drive away. »

«Quimby House is a charming hotel in Bar Harbor. Only a short walk from the town center. The room I got had a very different style from the usual sterile look of the typical hotel. I had some issues with the WiFi and the plumbing could use some TLC but all in all an enjoyable stay. Please note that the hotel has three floors and no elevator!»

«We stayed in mid-November, after much of the town has closed up for the season. The front desk provided us with a list of restuarants that were still open, which was helpful. The Oasis lounge was still open and where we ate our first night, everything was delicious. We were upgraded to an ocean view room and enjoyed watching the snow flurries blow in over the water. Beautiful property with great views! We really enjoyed the quiet!»
