Venturing out into mountains, valleys and desert of Morocco was one of the most exciting trips we've taken. The Dadés Valley east of Marrakech features incredible gorges and smooth roads with hair pin turns like this one on Route 704. Simply magic place. Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou The ksar, a group of earthen buildings surrounded by high walls, is a traditional pre-Saharan habitat. The houses crowd together within the defensive walls, which are reinforced by corner towers. Ait-Ben-Haddou, in Ouarzazate province, is a striking example of the architecture of southern Morocco. In this place, also known as Hollywood of Morocco, were recorded numerous films such as: Gladiator, Queen of the desert, Asterix, The game of trones. And this is an ONU World Heritage place!
