Reading reviews i did not have too high hopes but we reaaally loved the hotel! super clean and big rooms with aircon and hot shower. the service was top notch. would really reccommend if you want a hotel in hiriketiya. the location was also perfect, right by the beach and main square."

"One of the noisiest hotels we have ever stayed at. Music playing till well past midnight, dogs barking all night, the staff was sitting outside our room talking and playing videos on their phone very late. Construction of a new hotel just next to us which started work at 07:00, the staff was also brushing and cleaning outside from very early hours, and the room has no soundproofing, it was getting comical just how much noice could come from one place at one point. Have never slept so bad in a hotel before as we did these two nights. Room looks nothing like the pictures and is much more worn and torn. Super friendly staff and good food! Also great location! AC worked great. "

"I traveled alone, but from the very first moment I arrived at Ocean Bliss, I never felt alone. I was welcomed with such genuine warmth and kindness that my stay became something truly unforgettable! Anjana was absolutely incredible. She made sure I could always reach her, no matter what, and she helped me with everything—from big questions to the smallest details—always with a smile and a caring heart. She became more than just staff to me; she became my friend, and I already miss her dearly. She arranged a surf class for me which was great, and also a private cooking class. Yes, the hotel itself is beautiful, and the view from the rooftop terrace is simply spectacular. But what truly made this place special was the people. The hospitality and kindness shown by Anjana, Chamod, and Pulidu touched me deeply and made my stay extraordinary. A very special thank you to these wonderful people—I will never forget you. Ocean Bliss will always have a place in my heart, and I hope to return one day 💙"
