«This is the 3rd time that I am returning to Halcyon. It really is the best hotel on Mawella beach (and maybe even in whole of southern province :) The hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated, the staff are super friendly, including owner Xander, it's absolutely right on the beach , the food is great. What more to say, it's a little peace of heaven :) »

«We spent 3 days at this fabulous property. We loved the location - the sea was perfect for swimming and the pool was nice too. In front of the beach is a lovely lawned area with trees which is perfect for those of us who like a bit of shade. The rooms were large (we had a sea view room) and well equipped. «Beautiful location, clean rooms, seaview and beachview from the room and balcony. Best value for money, and extremely friendly staff. They arranget the best prices on the beach for scooter rental, and they reduced the price for brekfast by 90%. I did encounter a broken window that wouldnt close. But their extremely handy staff fixed in in a minute, with a big smile on their face! The hotel is suitable for both families, couples and friends. I really want to come back here.»
