The room was clean and it didn’t have any weird lingering smell. This hotel actually saved us from another that we left immediately due to a stench and other things. FIRST.. booking was so easy. The lady who checked me in was upfront with the temp-deposits required for my pet. Our little guy is a good boy so we weren’t worried about not getting it back (which we did) as far as cleanliness and the staff, and even the ability to launder our garments… Everything was great! The only thing I didn’t like is there wasn’t a large area to really take our dog out to potty it was just kind of whatever grass is in the front or on the side of the building lol but I understand as it’s off the highway. The pool and hot tub were a fun little amenity for our son. I will say…. The pet friendly rooms are only on the first and second floor. I guess I never really realized how that might affect our pooch. Whoever was staying above us on the third floor had little ones that were consistently stomping around and jumping probably from bed to bed..as the noise was awfully loud and what else could little feet be doing. The only reason this bothered us was because it caused our dog to be overly anxious and bark more than he usually does. I’m going to guess he thought somebody was knocking or trying to break in. Eventually, I think he got used to it because the barking slowed down. (We were there nearly 4 days) but still… I guess we didn’t think about ppl above us being noisy lol. That’s all.
