«Staff said we were not allowed to adjust the air conditioner lower than 75°F (26°C). They said the air conditioning would motion detect if there were people in the room and if there was movement then you could adjust the AC to whatever you’d like. However, this was untrue for us. We would set the AC to 68°F/20°C, then be relaxing for 3 minutes, and the AC would automatically jump back to 75°F/26°C. We were in a puddle of sweat every night, so it was difficult to sleep. «Really great staff who really know the area and cultivate the farm. They can give you information on ecology you won't find outside of guided tour groups in the park, and there's also yoga. The property is beautiful and it is easy to see birds. It is a pretty primitive property and so you should be expecting bug bites and no modern comforts. Bathing in rainwater is amazing, but it is also not warm. Also the ants really bite- I was itchy for a week afterward. So be careful. »
