«La Leona is situated on a magnificent piece of land, on the edge of the Corcovado and on the shores of the pacific ocean. It was not really possible to swim when we were there (in June), because of the surging currents and crashing waves, but you could take a refreshing dip in the shallows. Unfortunately we had signed up for a full day private guided tour of the Corcovado, at a cost of 90$ per person (we were two), which only led us on a trail along the edge of the rainforest and back, meaning ...

«Vi hadde seks supre døgn på hotellet. Flott bassengområde og veldig hyggelige, og behjelpelige, ansatte. God mat i restauranten, vi fikk prøvd både frokost, lunsj og middag. Hotellet ligger perfekt til for å få med seg mange fuglearter i området. Vi reiser veldig gjerne tilbake.»

It was our 56th wedding anniversary and they sent a nice chachuterie board to our room. Every evening the maid came by with a sweet treat for each room. The property is very nice and right on the bay. Very relaxing atmosphere . I would definitely consider returning to the Amaka Lodge »

«What a fabulous location. An immersive rainforest experience, with a beautiful view from our balcony. You could hear a variety of birds singing. It was music to the ears and you really felt connected with nature. If you ever decide to come to Uvita, this is the place to stay. The natural materials used in the accommodation complemented the surroundings. Very pleasing to the eye all around.»
