«We loved this vintage apartment. The place was clean and orderly. The vintage fridge is so cool!! I loved the old-timey ice tray. It was literally a 5 minute walk to the museums and the shops. Once we got to Mt.Airy, we didn't use any gas until we left. We were so close to everything. The restaurants we dined at were delicious and all within walking distance. The neighborhood was quiet, without all the hustle and bustle of the city. No dogs barking or police sirens. Everyone we came in ...

«Quality mattress, bedding, & pillows (with bedding options in the closet.) Decor that inspires relaxation & calm. Along a quaint historical street with multiple stores & small cafes and taverns. Enjoyed our stay & will visit again on future long distance trips for a peaceful “rest stop.” Couches in living room are only loveseat sized, not very cushy & less than ideal for larger or taller persons, but not uncomfortable enough to warrant a complaint or deduct from our stay.»

«Perfectly situated between the Blue Ridge Parkway and Floyd! The host is delightful and the property is a slice of heaven looking out over a quiet meadow! I had my coffee outside watching the barn swallows, biue jays, robins and cardinals mingle with the deer. It was serene! Then just a short drive into Floyd to take in the local flare. The Parkway is close and fun to take a relaxing drive doen yo Mabry mill. All in all a plus 5 on all accounts!»

«This great property in pilot Mountain was in the back of the pharmacy on Main Street which made it private and quiet but only steps from the downtown area of shops and restaurants. We loved the arrangement of space and decor of the property and it was one of the best rentals we've ever had. Only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!»

«The cute tiny house has everything we needed and provided a relaxing getaway atmosphere. Star gazing and watching the wildlife were highlights. The close proximity to Floyd makes it convenient to go into town. Highly recommend checking out Five-Mile Mountain Distillery for incredible moonshine cocktails. Cheers and relax!»
