«A cozy cabin in a beautiful area. It was clean, comfortable, and suited our family well. I was glad to be able to use the kitchen that was nicely stocked with the basics, including stainless steel pots and utensils (we try to avoid plastic and Teflon), so that was a pleasant surprise! The kids enjoyed the adjacent campground's arcade room (about a five minute drive or 20 minute walk) from the cabin. Overall, a pleasant stay!»

«We had a great time on our girls weekend trip to Banner Elk. The cabin was spacious, welcoming and clean. Unfortunately we did have issues with the hot tub. The control panel was not functioning so no jets. We notified the host who was quick to respond and have maintenance get it working but with it being the weekend everyone was off. It didn’t ruin our trip we still had a great time. We will definitely be back »

«Wonderful 1848 cabin with log walls and wood floors, a little crooked but remember when it was built. Everything updated inside in kitchen, bathrooms and comfortable furniture. Lots of dishes, pots/ pans etc for cooking. We spent our early mornings and evenings on the swing on the screened in porch and enjoying visits with the deer and rabbits. «The property was unkempt, very dirty. There were 2 window units for a 3 story 5 bedroom unit which in no way is adequate. The hot tub had not been serviced in a while. There was “ gunk” and debris clinging to the filter. Grill grate was broken, the other had chunks of old food on it.
